The Affinity Bridge - George Mann
Jun. 21st, 2010 01:04 pmI'm in the midst of reading The Affinity Bridge, and I just have to say...a lot of books, especially mystery novels, seem too stream-of-consciousness to really suit their genre. This one, however...the narrative is impeccably crafted, and clearly done so with intent. Textbook execution is not always a bad thing. This feels like the heir to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, not some hack trying to imitate him. Definitely worth the time.
