While I'm positive that being educated will not cause your kids to be born with Autism, I would not be surprised to learn that the cause is a gene that is more prevalent in white people and becomes more likely to activate as you get older...much like Down's Syndrome (at least I know age is a factor there, race may not be, I don't remember).

Oh, I get to see lots of that at work. I wish I could just tell parents that not everyone gets to be a rocket scientist when they grow up.
