Dec. 15th, 2012 12:00 amSo many people are trying so hard to fill their emptiness with stuff. And then they try to give me stuff, and I don't want it. I want to say, "Don't give me your stuff. I'm not empty." You can choose not to be empty, it just takes practice. It starts with the choice. Look at the hollow space inside you, and fill it. Fill it with thought, with interest. Wake up and see that you are full. You are not empty, and so you don't have room for stuff.
I am not empty. You are not empty. We do not hear that we are full. We drown our fullness out with the sound of consumption, so that we have no idea that we do not need to consume.
Just stop. Just for a minute, stop. Hear what's really there.
I am not empty. You are not empty. We do not need the constant flow of stuff. We are drowning each other.
