Accomplishments of the morning

1) Got up at 6:00 AM.
2) Got to work EARLY.
3) Got a good parking space IN NEWARK.
4) Said a lot exactly as I meant to say it.
5) Wrote another press release.
6) Friendslisted aurophobia because his writing style is lovely and I think I might know him...I knew a Chris Wrigley at the Jersey Shore...back when openhead and I were together.

...that June is National Accordion Awareness Month? I just read that in School Foodservice and Nutrition Magazine. The things I learn at this job.

Back to figuring out how to sell us to school principals and PTAs.

Funny thing.

You do something someone doesn't like, and they tell the whole damn world. You do something to help them, and they never mention it to anyone. Because, after all, then they'd have to admit they were wrong about you.

A whole lot of people assume they know the truth about me without ever asking me. This is not a complaint. Neither is the above. These are simple observations of fact.

It's also interesting how someone will announce the news of someone else's life as though it is their right to do so. And in the interest of keeping people from "getting the wrong idea," they tell half-truths, state irrelevancies, and call their opinions fact.

"On one hand, I do not care a damn if you fuck your friends or anyone else, and I am mystified that you wanted or needed to tell this to a bunch of people you barely know. Was there a purpose to this other than bragging or self-justification? Bear in mind that you told this personal information to people who barely know you, and just happen to share a hobby.

On the other hand, since you decided you had to tell us this, I decided I have to respond. You are pitiable. Within ten years, either you or them will get bored of fucking around and get a life, in which case you and them will cease to be friends. The friends that are fun to fuck are like the kind that are fun to get high or drink with. Once you stop fucking, doing drugs or getting drunk, they stop being interesting, or interested in you. Seriously, it's coming, and when it does, it's going to suck.

You may notice that I have used the word "fuck" in reference to sex. Well, if you consider yourself honest for calling yourself a slut, then I consider myself equally honest for calling what you, a slut, are doing "fucking." Sluts don't get to dignify their behavior by attaching the phrase "making love." If you don't like it, blame your slutty self. If it hurts, consider why it does."
