"On one hand, I do not care a damn if you fuck your friends or anyone else, and I am mystified that you wanted or needed to tell this to a bunch of people you barely know. Was there a purpose to this other than bragging or self-justification? Bear in mind that you told this personal information to people who barely know you, and just happen to share a hobby.

On the other hand, since you decided you had to tell us this, I decided I have to respond. You are pitiable. Within ten years, either you or them will get bored of fucking around and get a life, in which case you and them will cease to be friends. The friends that are fun to fuck are like the kind that are fun to get high or drink with. Once you stop fucking, doing drugs or getting drunk, they stop being interesting, or interested in you. Seriously, it's coming, and when it does, it's going to suck.

You may notice that I have used the word "fuck" in reference to sex. Well, if you consider yourself honest for calling yourself a slut, then I consider myself equally honest for calling what you, a slut, are doing "fucking." Sluts don't get to dignify their behavior by attaching the phrase "making love." If you don't like it, blame your slutty self. If it hurts, consider why it does."

First off, nice variation at the end with a George Carlin joke, whether u knew that or not... anyways...

its always the "self-rightous" who blame you for a lot of this shit. hell Loretta, I may or may not know u more than he does, and all i can say is, so u have sex more often then most. That's fine, if it's protected by both parties, fine, if its a mutual thing about ppl jsut getting to enjoy a tender moment at least once in a while, fine... it's your life, you can do what u wish. You know ur limits.

Granted I can't say I condone the fact you said all that in ur LJ but hey, I know you like to speak your mind regardless of what criticism may arise, and I will applaud you for it.

So you have fuck buddies... as long as u know the person well, and it isn't like some one-night stand where u don't even know the guy's name... hey... have all the sex u want, its being a friend with benefits. They're hard to find, to be honest... believe me, I've looked.

well, the sad part is, most people go out of their way to find things to look down at other people for. wether or not you were "bragging or self justifying" he just evidentally feels superior to your stance on sex. either that or he is ticked off that he wasnt invited to the orgy. (i know i have reacted in similar ways for that reason)

now both points have justification. lemme tell ya, in my experience, sex with one person (or a couple of people) over long periods of time with serious emotional investiments(on all sides) is eminantly more satisfying than a series of one night stands. but he is right about the fucking/drinking/drugging type of friends... but only when those are the ONLY reasons you hang out. i.e. if ya meet a bunch of people at a bar you frequent, and end up all hanging out for a number of months/years, and all you do is drink, if one of you goes teetotaler, that person wont want to hang out with the group, or if the whole group "grows up" (read: stops living life, and starts conforming) and "moves on in their lives" than the group will dissapate... but that happens to all sorts of groups of friends, even if they are "true friends"... but if the fucking is just a sidenote, and the "friends" part of the friendship exists independantly of the "benifits" side of the friendship... than it CAN work out...

though you still have to watch out for jealousy, hurt feelings, emotional scarring, and unexpected emotional attachment... belive you, me, a guy can sleep with a girl for a while, telling her every time that there is no chance of a serious relationship, and her knowing full well that he isnt just banging her, she can STILL "fall in love" with him. and when she is finally cut off due to his "relationship" it hurts no less than if they were going out the whole time. (it also happens with the roles reversed... i have experience on both sides of that fence)

but that is enough for now
