My ears are pierced once each. I have two tattoos (one over each kidney). I was hoping to get more this summer, but I have other things to take care of.

I don't really watch TV. But I like the cute girl triple-threat (Buffy, Angel, Charmed) and the Daily Show. John Stewart is the most trusted anchor in America.

Sushi, chocolate, really rare steak, salmon, pasta.

Water.

13. FAVORITE SPORT?
Not a big fan of teams sports, although hockey games are great to be at (Let's Go Devils!). I like watching figure skating and gymnastics. And my friends when they're beating on each other at Markland and SCA events, so Frat Fighting.

So's I can't smell, taste, or feel them.

I prefer to dress up whenever I have the energy, even if I'm just hanging. But not to work; I don't like Elliot staring at me.

A few days ago, when I heard mom's boyfriend's take on inter-racial relationships and "mixed" kids. According to his narrow view, both my niece and nephew are "mixed" and thus "unwanted." And I really liked him before, too.
*******Edit. This is what I thought he was saying. My mom and I talked (!) and I mis-heard a lot. He was talking about his mother's view of his son's black wife. What I misunderstood did break my heart at the time, so I'm leaving that up. But I had to clear his name.*********

I can fake a little on piano, but not officially. Although it was once said that the most beautiful musical instrument, and the most difficult to play, was the human voice. I remember it being Mozart who said that, but it's a 50/50 chance that it's a false memory.

38. ARE YOU HAVING A GOOD DAY SO FAR?
Pleasant enough. Mom and Ron are out. Craig will be here soon, and then it will be wonderful.

Well, I have to disagree with you (on the platforms sucking equally), but it's primarily because of opinion and preference. I've worked with PCs and Macs for a long time, and yes, each platform has its relative flaws. But, macs are more convenient for me, only because of my career choice.

People have done some major heavy-duty stuff in the field of graphic design with PCs, but Macs make it much, much easier, and it comes with most of the stuff I need. Not that I can't get it on a PC, but with Macs, it just eliminates the hassle of finding the right driver for said device, installing it, and troubleshooting if necessary. All of it is already installed. Plug and play. Simple. Expensive, but simple.

I've had my PowerMac for more than 2 years, and I've had little or no problems with it. I miss my baby. Very much. But I know it's in good hands. Now my PowerBook is my newest offspring; rightfully so, considering how much I paid for it...No labor pains, or morning sickness to get this baby. Though a dent in my wallet is all I sustained. But it was worth it.

BTW, what happened to your friend who wanted the Mac? I know it's a bit late to ask, but just curious is all.

I don't even remember who it was at this point. A lot's happened since May...

I know Macs are more convenient for graphics. Which is really the only argument in which those two platforms actually differ anymore, so Mac is a little better than PC. But all OS's still suck. This is the gospel according to Kevin Pease. Reference www.absurdnotions.org.
