So, here I am.

Husband and I are searching for a house. We started out looking at actual houses, but for $350K in New Jersey, everything is either ugly, or badly in need of repair, or too small, or all of the above. So now we're looking at townhouses that we can buy for cheaper and put a lot more into updating instead of fixing, so that in 2-7 years we can sell for a profit.

Ren Faire starts this weekend. I am in desperate need of the charge I get from it.

I'm off birth control. Still on prozac. Generally much better, but the fact that I can feel more things now means that occasionally things suck more.

Also, it's my dad's birthday, so there's all of THAT baggage.

Life's pretty good, so I'll just make my angsty noises here where they won't annoy anyone. Nnnerrrgghgh

How far are you willing to travel? There are plenty of beautiful houses in that range and under further South...

Not that far. The whole point of the move is to both give us more space, and to even out our commutes. So we're looking in between his job in Cokesbury and mine in Skillman.
