holly_evolvingSo I'm pretty much failing at this updating thing. Whatever, I do what I want.
I'm really sick. Did you know it was possible to be so congested that a neti pot wouldn't work? Well it is. I thought I was just doing it wrong, so I looked up videos on youtube. Not doing it wrong, just got the clog from hell.
I've missed a bunch of work. It's fucking February and I have 2 sick days left. Fuck.
Writing is not happening. I don't know why. It's not writer's block. I know exactly what happens next, I just can't make myself write it. Trying not to be too hard on myself.
I've been watching a bunch of Netflix while I've been waiting for this sick thing to go away. First up was The Forsyte Saga. If you like period melodrama, this is definitely for you. Fair warning though: there is a rape scene. Next was The Secret Circle, which is supernatural teen fluff-drama about a circle of witches. Think Charmed meets Teen Wolf.
Been playing WoW like a boss. Switched my main from my balance druid to my death knight, and switched her spec from frost to blood. Thus far in the expansion, boomkin are just too hard to play; their survivability sucks. I will still be healing dungeons with her in tree spec, but only in an all-guild group till my confidence is up. Also looking to tank some dungeons with my guild, since I think I get how blood dk works. I cancelled my riding lesson tonight. I am just too sick to take the risk; I want to keep getting better so Wicked Faire is a completely good weekend. I will, however, work on my laundry rather than just be a bum.
Also, Jay finally got rid of the broken furniture that was taking up space in the garage! Yay husband! So part of the plan for the week is to go to Home Depot and get some shelves to organize the boxes and stuff.
Valentine's Day is tomorrow. Blah blah hallmark holiday whatever. I like celebrating love any day, and Valentine's Day means I get to be a mushball and no one gets to gag at me. Dinner with the husband will be happening.
Taking a personal day on Friday. Maybe I will stop by the barn and load Bette up on sugar mints. I love that horse. If I had the time and money to board her and visit her every day, she would be mine.
