Worth their weight in gold

I got a pair of Sketchers Shape-ups. Even at the outlet, they were not cheap: discounted to $80 from $120. This was Monday after work. It's Wednesday morning, and I can already say it was abosultely worth it. I have been chipping away at my weight for some time now, but I'd hit a plateau. As of this morning, I've broken through, which feels great. And even better: most of you know I have horrible knees. If you didn't know, now you do. HORRIBLE. With the way these shoes are squishy in the middle, there's no impact on my knees when I walk. It's amazing what a difference that makes. Love these shoes. I want to gut every other pair I own and put the same kind of insides in them. LOVE.

I have a pair of those. Even wearing them on the bike I can tell a difference in the way my legs feel. It took me a bit to get used to walking in them. Then again, it sometimes takes me a bit to get used to walking full stop.
