Not going the soapbox route here. Just, it sucks for everyone involved.

Columbus, OH, doesn't have enough stretchers that go to 650 lbs. Nor does it have any stretchers that go to 1,000 lbs. And it needs them, to prevent further injuries to its paramedics.

That happened to a neighbor of mine. They had to frog march him out the door, then use two stretchers side by side. It was really sad.
