How high can you go?

In case you didn't get to try it the first time around, this site provides a range of mp3 files to test how high your hearing is. Most people over 25 can't hear past 15khz. That's the highest frequency on the list for me, for example.

Watch it if you've got pets in the room - the noise is piercing, even if you don't play it loud.

Can't quite hear the 22. Strangely, in the past two years both my eyesight and hearing have gotten better. Must have something to do with that portrait in my attic.

People's hearing and eyesight can both improve (slowly, over a long time, provided there's no actual nerve/brain damage) when they stop abusing them.

I don't think I was doing anything to abuse them, though. I actually work in a noisier, more sight-intensive field now. Perhaps the massive weight loss did something. I don't know.

Well, apparently there's a link between weight gain and hearing loss, so maybe the reverse is also true?
