I can empathize with those who spend this week memorializing Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley, and mourning their suicides (yes, a self-administered drug overdose is a suicide, even if it MIGHT be accidental). Whether you liked them or not, they were pioneering voices in music. But guys, April 4 was the anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., and I didn't hear one single word about that. It just seems wrong to me.
