Weekend update

holly_evolvingFriday: had sushi with Jay before he left for a LAN party. Started up some toons on a new server (yes, this is about WoW) to run with a friend and his wife up in Toronto. So I guess he's Canadian Chris? And Canadamanda? I'm such a dork. Anyhoo, that's what I did with my Friday evening.
Saturday: drove out to the shore to hang with Gerry and Alison. I am so very glad I have a heavy car with new tires, because let me tell you, the wind, she was a-battering me! The three of us talked for like, nine hours. The day just flew.
Sunday: Jay came home early so he could come with me to see Kris and Aimee and their podlings. Good food, good company. Mario Wii might end marriages, but it's apparently a good basis for hilarity among friends. Unless you're nearly two years old; then grownups who laugh hysterically are just too upsetting. Other people's kids are cute.
I may start going to the LAN parties again, since Jay's ex will no longer be there. Because it was one thing to hang out with the guys and read while they gamed, but another thing entirely to do the same while trying not to feel awkward around her. So, good for me there.
Today I'm working, then going to Petco to get new filters for Flap's fountain, then picking up some groceries.
Ta da! Life.
