Post Snowpocalyptic
Feb. 11th, 2010 11:53 amSo, work had a snow day yesterday. Jay and I slept in, read, played video games, watched TV, and generally acted like lazy college students. I'm back at work after a delayed opening. The roads were crap even though they didn't have to be. Did the recession hit townships? Are there just not enough people to plow? Or are DPWs lazy down here in central Jersey?
Project for next fall: get winter play clothes. Good ole nylon shelled coat, snow pants, boots, new gloves. If there is snow to sled on, then sled I shall, dammit.
Also, I don't think it's fair to Jay that I have to have him dig my car out. The most waterproof shoes I own are Mary Janes.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS!

I don't know either, because it hasn't happened yet! My street and cross-street are still a foot and a half deep with snow, and I am feeling grateful that I live within walking distance of a supermarket.
