Club vs. Faire

holly_evolvingSo, when I go out to the goth club, I wear pants, a shirt, and sneakers. I don't wear makeup, and the clothes are, while not baggy, certainly not form-fitting. I like to MOVE when I dance, and dance I do. I'm gross and sweaty by about half an hour after I get there, and I keep at it for about 4 hours. This is my workout: rocking out on the dance floor with my friends to music I love. It's fun, but it ain't pretty.
I went to Clockwork last night (which EVERYONE who is local should go to, ohmyheavens is it wonderful!). I wore a pretty skirt, tall boots, and a very form-fitting jacket. I wore makeup and jewelery. I was, in fact, completely dolled up. I even wore perfume.
There was a guy there who is one of my club buddies; his name is Mike. He's only ever seen me at QXT in rockout/workout mode. The look on his face when he saw me all girly was...absolutely priceless. It completey made my day.
