Moving Progress Report: Slow

fatherdog1, cullyn, and Jay's dad helped us move boxes and some small furniture on Saturday, and Jay's dad took his Honda Land Mass to pick us up a nice big bookcase on Sunday...but we're still not even half done. Jay and I are both sick and way below our normal capacity. So we'll be at it again this coming weekend; not sure which day, since we're coordinating with fatherdog1 to help him paint his house one day in exchange. Maybe the paint fumes will help clear my sinuses? I'm not nearly as sick as Jay, who had a fever 3 days last week and is visiting the infirmary at his work today or SO HELP ME I WILL THRASH HIM. The chaos is rough on the cat, who is running around the current apartment going "WTF, guys?"

So, any night this week and anytime this weekend, help will be welcomed. I only have turkey day off, so anyone who wants to come Friday will be working with Jay.

Plans for tonight are to get the supplies I need to make green bean casserole, which will be my contribution to Thanksgiving at my mom's house.

I'd love to have a nice lazy post-turkey weekend and visit with my friends, but that ain't happening.

Dammit.
