Anytime there is a deep and abiding connection between two people, whether as friends, family, or lovers...hell even as pet and person, I think it's a soul connection. I think when a love relationship lasts, it's because of that connection coupled with A LOT of very hard work.

And no, I don't worry about the ones that got away, even when they were soul mates. Life has other things in store for them.
