The likelihood was that if I took this job, I would have to live in a hotel room all week long and only be home on the weekends. That's time I can't get back, and I just can't live with that. If I could deal with being alone all the time, I wouldn't be moving in the first place.

It's often suggested that you should go for the interview even if you don't want the job. Doing so gives you practice at interviewing. you can always turn down the job afterwards. So if you find yourself in a similar circumstance in the future, it might be a good idea to go anyway just for the practice to help you out on the future interviews

I got this interview through a temp agency. When I expressed my concern about the constant travel, the agent made the decision to pull me from the interview. I still would have gone, but as she said, it would make her look bad if she sent over someone who didn't take the job.
