Medical Marijuana in NJ
Jan. 22nd, 2009 12:00 amThere is a bill that is being presented to the New Jersey Senate, S119. It's a compassionate medical marijuana bill. It would essentially make it legal for anyone dealing with chronic or severe pain, or chronic or severe nausea to use, obtain, grow, and transport marijuana and marijuana paraphenalia without fear of prosecution.
The Medical Marijuana Project has a petition on their site for people to send to their local New Jersey representatives urging them to pass it. The information about that petition is here:

I don't know if non-residents can sign it...there's nothing that says you can't though.
