I am thankful for Dr. Krupnick

Since Flap seemed to have some tummy problems over the weekend, I took him to see the vet. Various samples were taken, and I asked about something that's been on my mind. See, Flap is trained to respond to commands for food rewards. It's always been a part of our bond, and it's a good mental workout for him. But he doesn't buy using his dry food as treats. It has to smell and taste different. And I can't give him store-bought treats or people food anymore (don't worry, it was just sashimi or chicken) because of his restricted diet. So what to do? He definitely feels the lack, and so do I.
