Don't make it sound so bad. they mentioned the involvement of the more progressive religious congrerations. With the right pressures and leaderships, the focus of religious debate can be turned towards war, poverty and injustice and away from who should be allowed to love who, and what rights to take away from what people

I'll grant you, these religious folks are nowhere near as bad as the right wing.

But I still believe that religion has absolutely no place in government whatsoever.
