My poor cat has a urinary tract infection. He went from acting weird Friday night to peeing outside the box on Sunday morning, and lo and behold: a tiny, healthy bladder, but he's got inflammation in there somewhere. The emergency vet in Raritan was really good, but damn was that expensive. So now I'm giving him wet Prescription Diet twice a day with a painkiller and a relaxant for his bladder, along with water and catnip oil mixed in, and I'm adding catnip oil to his drinking bowl to get him to DRINK GODDAMMIT. And I'm shooting liquid Clavamox down his throat twice a day. The "amox" in Clavamox is amoxicillin, to which I am allergic, along with all other penicillin derivatives. He managed to spit some onto my hand a few minutes ago, but I think I washed it off in time. I'll be watching out for blisters, though. Yes, blisters. Hives are only if I ingest it.

We have extra litter boxes set up around the house. Now if only I could make my poor baby understand why it hurts when he pees, and that it will be over soon.

Poor sweet kitty. I am sending what I can for him.

And now MANY THANKS FOR YOUR HELP, LOVE, AND SUPPORT. What you both did for all of us is beyond love. Thank you again and again.

We were happy to do it! Y'all (hehe, Southern) are a wonderful family and hell, you deserve a hand now and then. I'm just happy we could.
