Put the endorphins back
Sep. 10th, 2008 09:20 amThere's a point at which all rational avenues have been explored and exhausted. And yet, we're (and by we I mean anyone) still miserable. And I'm not talking "I feel cranky" miserable. I'm talking "I'll never feel good again" miserable. This is lack of seratonin. It's made easier to spot in some people by a craving for chocolate, but not everyone develops this symptom. When this point is reached, there's only one thing to do in order to get back to sanity. Boost the endorphin levels as quickly as possible. While oxcytocin is not seratonin, it's still a good start. Rationality is likely to follow.
