Also, if you haven't read the His Dark Materials trilogy, you should. Like, now. It's sort of the anti-Narnia.

And the language is GORGEOUS.

His Dark Materials is an AWESOME trilogy! great story, awesome language...I wish it took off in the US sooner. The series was actually made into a play in 2004, but it hasn't been produced in the US. Here's to hoping that the play makes its way across the language--if you though the books/movie were good, the play is nothing short of excellent!
