Healthier today. Whatever it is seems to have left my sinuses and taken up residence in the right side of my throat and my right ear, but it's lessened. Yay breathing!

I took NyQuil last night. Now, the Q makes me hallucinate when I dream. I have no idea what I was dreaming about this morning, but at 6:30 I woke up because I had bitten through the very edge of my tongue. I am so very very glad that I buy alcohol-free mouthwash. It's still sore, but it's healing.

I will never get my tongue pierced. Yeesh.

Getting your tongue pierced actually hurts SOOO MUCH LESS than biting your tongue!!

I can see why! Not nearly as many nerve endings in the center of the tongue as in the edges.

That, and they actually pierce between the two muscles of the tone. that 'ridge' you can feel in the center is actually BETWEEN the muscle. The piercing itself is actually quite painless... It's just the swelling after that sucks monkey balls!
