A possibility

I have Epstein-Barr. Shocking, another illness of random pain and exhaustion that nothing can be done for, I know. I had mono once...no idea when, but I think Craig gave it to me. I didn't find out till I had some blood work done and, there it was, Epstein Barr. You've had mono!

So, every once in a while I just feel drained and miserable, and it leaves me very emotionally weak. Which is I think what has been going on with me these past few weeks.

I need to rest. And conserve money, as the new job means I am getting ahead, but I am by no means actually ahead yet.

To that end, I will sadly not be attending the Fairy Festival this weekend. I'm sad about it, but it's the responsible thing to do for the health of my body and my bank account.

It is to short notice and this month is already booked solid, both socially and financially.

but I will do my best to plan for it next year. and I know of at least 3 people who would DIE to go with me... so lets remind each other well in advance and we can work something out to all make it together. one van 4-6 people. will save some serious costs;)

Dunno about carpooling; I have quite a few people who want to come next year. But just keep in mind, it's a Beltaine festival, so it happens Beltaine weekend.

I'm in the same boat. At some point I had mono so I now have Epstein-Barr. I get stressed or run down or sick for too long, and all I can do is sleep and feel cranky and miserable. It fucking BLOWS!!!



And I just wanted to say "I feel your pain" -- because I really, really do.

Things aren't actually bad; it just feels that way sometimes when I don't have any energy.
