A link to the new and improved seven deadly sins. While I can no longer wholeheartedly support all of them, I am happy to say that, by taking birth control and contemplating egg donation (yes the two go together; they actually want you on birth control until they prep you for retrieval) I am still breaking number one in a big way!

Do they still have to pump you full of fertility-inducing hormones as well? (If so, the birth control is a good idea).

The hormone/fertility overdose bit was what decided me against egg donation, back when I was contemplating it. My family's frightfully fertile as it is... the *last* thing I wanted to do was to increase that, no matter how much money they were waving at
me. ($2000-$3000 at the time, if I'm remembering right.... not sure what the going rate is now)

Yeah, they still pump you up. It's pretty controlled over the course of about 2 weeks, the rest of the time is just getting your cycle to work with the recipient's.

And the going rate is $8,000.00. But if you really want to know why I'm working on this, watch Idiocracy. My eggs WILL fight against world dumbination!
