Things I think of on my commute
Nov. 29th, 2007 05:26 pmLove is a lot like sustainable cold fusion. See, you take the right element, and at the right time, you add the right amount and type of energy. If you can pull off that perfect combination and achieve the real thing, you will get back so much more than you put in.
And it doesn't stop there. See, like sustainable cold fusion, we can't harness love. Can't make it work for us or do what we want it to do. It's its own thing, made for the stars.
We know cold is in there, inside the stars, powering them. But we can't see it. You can see love either. Like cold fusion, all you can see is the light it creates.
The big difference is that all we can do is dream of cold fusion. But love is something we can experience and live for. Someday, maybe, cold fusion will enrich our lives. But love is doing it now.
I guess what I'm saying is: you make my stars shine.
