Well, it's winter
Dec. 22nd, 2012 01:39 pmThe days will begin to get longer now, which is good for me. 5 PM darkness is my least favorite thing.
I spent the night with some very silly pagans (they're not silly because they're pagan, they are silly in how they express their paganism). It was wild and ridiculous and positive and loving and I'm glad I was invited along. It didn't affect my lack of belief in the supernatural, but it did have a positive impact on my faith in these particular people, which is more important to me anyway.
At around 6 AM, they took their vigil to the shore to welcome the sun, and I took myself home to bed. I'm sad I didn't have the juice to make it to the beach, but I'm proud of myself for realizing it in advance.
Today's plans include getting a bit of a hair cut and seeing Margaret for dinner. Both items are way too long in coming. My hair is long enough to be a nuisance now (it's longer than my arm) and I miss my Margaret.
That's about it for now. I am going to allude to her xmas prezzie on twitter and then focus on being home with Jay.
