I haven't been going out much or seeing many people because I've been sick since Xmas. I don't want to share whatever germ this is, and I will be DAMNED if I'm not better in time to rock out at Wicked Faire.

And I did wind up staying home for New Year's.

On the upside...I started a savings account to save up for the wedding. I got a little Xmas money, so I put that in. The plan is to add a couple hundred dollars or so every month. If I wind up between temp assigments I'll have to adjust that, but so far things look good. I've also been putting some real effort towards losing weight. 4 pounds in a month isn't a lot, but it's a nice steady rate and I think I can stick with it.

While I'm positive that being educated will not cause your kids to be born with Autism, I would not be surprised to learn that the cause is a gene that is more prevalent in white people and becomes more likely to activate as you get older...much like Down's Syndrome (at least I know age is a factor there, race may not be, I don't remember).
