Jul. 12th, 2004 07:10 pmSo, I haven't been posting. I no longer have time at work since I took over proofreading orders. I've learned some things:
~Debbie (for whom I'm covering) used to spend a lot of time reading. This is why she never had time to get work done.
~I'm surrounded by people who are paid to waste time. If I am remotely nice to them, I accomplish nothing.
~The bosses are treating me like a princess. Thus, I assume that my coworkers are waiting for me to fuck up, at which point they will tear me apart like a tired dog in a circle fight. This is a good way to keep from fucking up.
~Karen is a wonderful lady. She is so getting a Vermont Teddy Bear.
My godmother sent me $500.00. This will help much with bills and rent. Yes, I pay rent to my mother. When she knows why my money was gone. And her boyfriend does not pay rent.
Craig is amazing. While he becomes more familiar to me with each new thing I learn, I'm still amazed each time I see him as though it's the first. He is my comfort and my joy; he is the reason I'm finally learning nothing can touch me if I don't want it to.

Magic is having motivation to do something other than sleep/work/see Craig.

Bought a new copy of Order of the Phoenix after accepting that I'll never see the original again.
