Part the 1st: I receive a very excited email about the New Hope Chamber of Commerce Pirate Festival. I am, of course, very excited.

Part the 2nd: I get decked out in Pirate Gear that Saturday, ready to stalk the streets in search of booty.

Part the 3rd: Where are all the bloody pirates? None, not one! The staff of the Medieval Gallery simply do not count!

Part the 4th: I am sweaty and crabby, and desperately in need of food. I change out of the corseted awesomeness and into my Care Bears t-shirt, and have a lovely time, even without pillaging.

In retrospect, the first weekend of NY Renn, PennRenn, and Pennsic was probably not the best time to try this event.
