I remember, when I was in elementary school, all the kids who had summer birthdays like mine brought in cupcakes on the last day of school. Those were some riteous sugar-highs.

Now we divvy up the "summer" birthdays. And with all the crazy food allergies, we discourage parents from bringing in cupcakes. At least, that's what we tell parents. Really we just don't want to put up with the sugar highs.
