I really should get to bed, but I don't want to leave things on a rant.

eidolon825 came with! Those of you who don't reenact have no idea what a beautiful, kind world you're missing.

I'm trying to let go of MR, I really am, and mostly I'm succeeding. But every once in a while, something pops up and reminds me of those moments that didn't hurt. LARPing was like an abusive lover for me, and I'm so glad I've stopped. Still damage to heal, though. A few folks have asked me to come to this or that LARP since then, but I've said no every time, and I'm proud of myself for that. I'll stick to taking breaks from reality in places where I don't have to interact with ANY people who get off on emotionally damaging each other. "Only a few" is a few too many for me to handle.
NY Ren tomorrow. I am taking a break from garb and wearing a costume. I will be the Order Fairy to balance the Chaos Fairy. And we will be accompanied by the Chaos Egg Man, who says wonderfully kind, worthwhile things when one least expects them.
Little signs have been popping up with some regularity that seem to say "Hey, you'd be a good leader." Conversations, ideas, even stupid Memes are on the Leader Train. Great. Now who am I leading, and what am I leading them into?
It's strange to be away from him with the moon so full and bright. There's this little sheltered meadow near the house. We should be standing in it, holding each other.
