In my new avatar you can see how enormous my boobs are in comparison to my pointy shoulders. They kinda freak me out. I don't look in mirrors much.

It's actually pretty easy to get done up without a mirror. The ribbon is just tied around my head. My hair was in two braids (which I also don't have to look in a mirror to do) so there wasn't anything to snag on. I don't usually look in a mirror unless I'm putting on makeup. I like how I look fine, it's just an extension of how little I think about myself. My bills, my friends, my freaking job search, but not myself.

I am a tad insecure, though, so I love compliments. They make me feel all silly. Thanks!

You should think more of yourself. You're a better person than most I've met.

I give you compliments because you truly deserve them. I must insist on disagreeing with whenever you disparage yourself. And what I'm no expert on your or the innermost workings on your mind, nor am I completely clued in as to your backgroundor current situation, I think the self-criticism undeserved.

And, I'm insecure, as well-- so I totally understand. Low self esteem. Low self image. Lack of confidence. Shyness. You name it, I am it. (I'm working on it, though)

I'm also silly-- if you haven't noticed.

I don't like to think that I disparage myself; more that I have other, more important things to think about. But maybe I do. I do try to love myself--desperately insecure people make poor lovers, and I try to give my best.

If it makes you feel any better, I think you're cute and I've always found your conversation engaging (which means you must be smart and charming). And silly is good. Silly is not too serious. Silly is relief.

I have trouble loving myself.

I also find that I have confidence and love at the same time. Not to say that one is dependent upon the other. The two are mutually exclusive.

To sum up: I'm smart enough to fake being smart, charming enough to get myself in trouble, and silly enough to grow a moustache.
