Date: 2005-05-11 12:27 pm (UTC)I get insomnia from time to time too. It used to last for days and days, but I found something that works for me.. If I've had a sleepless (or nearly sleepless night), I make sure to get up at my regular time anyway. I trudge through the day, and then, about two hours before I want to fall asleep I take half a dose of Tylenol Simply Sleep. I know, I know, it stinks to take sleeping pills, but believe me; as tired as you are, you're going to get hyper by the time bedtime comes around... That's just how are bodies work. Anyway, you'll fall asleep at your normal time, & you might be a bit cranky the next day, but your sleeping pattern will be back on track, which is the important part. Give it a try if you want, and tell me if it helps.
