1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Found HIM. Officially joined Markland and the SCA. Stood up to my dad.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't remember if I made a resolution last year. This year, I resolve to keep on growing and working toward the person I want to be, even if I never get there.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin Laura had a baby boy, Dylan.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
A lot of people died, but I don't keep many close, so no.
5. What countries did you visit?
Still haven't made it off the East Coast.
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
Funding.
7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I don't remember dates, just events. Fred and I broke up in January. Craig and I met in May and got together in June. I moved back to Hawthorne and got a job with a future in May. I had my first 100% successful Xmas in 12 years.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Becoming the person I was supposed to be all along.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Finding out some bad news about some people, and laughing.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had a bout of the flu that took me out of work for 3 days.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Heather's Xmas present (photos soon)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Craig, for being bloody perfect. Julie and Marc, for having my back (they have so much in common in spite of themselves!) My dad, for apologizing when confronted. Eric, for being a safe harbor in a storm. Me, for growing up. Heather, for promising to be the smartest person my family has ever produced.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Some, always. But I understand, and I understand my own part in that. Myself at times.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Squaring my financial situation. Still a ways to go on that score.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Craig. And now this faire idea--I CAN DO IT!!!!

Switchfoot, "Meant to Live." Some songs can be overdone without being overdone, especially if they're true.

Happier or sadder? A hell of a lot happier.

I hate individuals less and people as a whole more.
