holly_evolvingSo, I wrote a song for Craig about a month ago. I haven't yet had the nerve to sing it to him, but I think I might for Xmas. It's my first attempt at a period-sounding song, and it falls short, but not by much. It's the first love song I've finished since high school, and a vast improvement as a result...but still. I haven't performed any completely original work since high school either.
People I've finished Xmas shopping for: Craig, my brother, my sister-in-law, my niece, my nephew, cousin Alanna, cousin Laura, godfather, Lucy. Not shopping for sis or bro-in-law, as they asked me not to. Whatev. People still to buy for:
Mom's boyfriend. Craig's mom. Craig's stepmom. My dad. My godmother. Cousin Dylan (yay baby!).
Got my mom half done.
And yes, I do say Xmas or Critmit. I am not religious, but I love to give presents.
