Out sick again

Just got off the phone with my doctor. She says it's just a viral infection so there's nothing they can give me to treat it, and Allegra is the best they can offer for my symptoms. Because I have 3 days to wait for it work. Not. Maybe I'll be able to go back into work this week. MAYBE. This is not good. But I got like 3 hours of sleep last night because the congestion kept waking me up, and 6-hour medication is only lasting me 3 hours. And this thing is spreading like wildfire. I was sick 24 hours after exposure. Lily and Chris were complaining yesterday. I can't risk taking my whole office out. And I can't drive on 3 hours of broken up sleep. And I can't talk to people--and my job keeps me on the phone. Fuck. I finally got over being worried about whether or not I'd have a job when we switch our database over in January, and now this. I've busted my ass in there every day since they put me on proofreading, worked extra hours, come in when I was sick, and now my body's finally given in to the abuse I've been putting it through, so good-bye raise, I guarantee it.

If you bust ur hump, and u practically kill urself to do all this, for the company to just pass u by is just bullshit. Hell, I also bust my hump when I worked at Quick Chek, and I rarely get noticed for it, maybe a small pat on the back, that's it. All I know is, if I (shudder) go back there, they better make me a manager for the double duty I do for everyone.

if that being the case, you should plan a nice revenge scheme when u recover, like a lil something for the new servers in January. And if nothing works to ur advantage, there's something ol' Kevin Pease does, and that is carve his letter of resignation to the door of his boss' office.

Just some ideas for anarchy to screw over a company that enjoys screwing u over.

I actually like my coworkers, though. Wouldn't want to screw them over. And I'm sure it won't be all that bad, I'm just being pessimistic because I feel crappy.

Besides, I'd need a plasma cutter to carve anything into their office door.

The first question asks, "has it been interesting?" and the second one asks, "has it been fun?"

The questions are not in the polite form (as in, "desu ka" is not at the end of each question), but rather in the informal. Using the polite form every time I speak just gets so unnecessary at times, since most people seldom use it in Japan. The only times the polite form is used is in official documents, and of course, addressing your superiors. But, I found that everyone in the office speaks in the informal manner, since they all know each other very well.

Trust me, I got more coming.
