Someone mined out a mountain, but left the top just floating in the sky. So I built a staircase up to the bottom, mined my way through it, and started building a floating sky fortress on top. Once I have a portal in place, I will take out the staircase.

And have a motherfucking floating sky castle.

By someone, you mean the game's world spawning engine (it gets confused and angry with logic... it's Republican). Anyhow, portal added. I am also thinking about installing a mod to allow users to just create teleport spots they name and can use with a command line. No more freaking signs. I like the idea of set teleport pads, but it's nasty when you go exploring and have to make a sign just to get back.
