holly_evolvingOtakon is over. I am relieved.
My heros of the weekend:
Big Jimmy, for dealing with the cops so no one else had to.
Steve, for feeding me.
Richard, for making my calves stop stabbing me from the inside so's I could get back to work.
Donny, for being super-funny under pressure. Pony rides!
Rea, for giving me Advil.
Clark, for being my security buddy at the dance.
Fifty people to protect 20,000!
It took me this long to post, and I'm still tired. Y'all should have seen me trying to give a shit about humanity the next day at work. It didn't happen.
It's a good thing I can dislocate my shoulders without pain, or doing security detail for Angela (J-pop group) would have been very very painful.
In exchange for this suffering, I got a free hotel room, free admission to the Con (not that I got to DO anything besides work, mind you), tax free GORGEOUS jewelery that I'm so wearing with my winter garb, and some new, awesome friends. And Big Jimmy loved his B-day t-shirt.
