So Much Good
Sep. 24th, 2010 04:49 pmIf you know someone who can't play WoW because of their religion, or someone who tries to force religion, or someone who in some way has been hurt by evangelism, this is a great read. It's a great read anyway. This guy, I like him. I could be friends with him. He knows where the boundaries are, and how to be holy without being holier-than-thou.
A Lutheran Minister, who believes that the Bible is the inerrant word of his god, talks about how he plays WoW:

He comes off amazingly sane and cool, people. Read it.
(Yes, I'm still an atheist. Can't we all just get along?)
Quote from the interview:
"But the moment we make the Gospel into a law -- the moment we start running around to every door and saying, "Believe Jesus or go to hell" -- not only do we betray the Bible's actual teachings and rob the good news of its power, but we also don't make any sense and look like a bunch of nuts."
