Here goes nothing

So I put in my first job application...wish me luck! My computer settings (which I'm not allowed to change) caused the machine to eat my resume instead of saving the updates I made today, so I couldn't upload it! Fortunately, the original is still saved at mom's. I'll call them next week while Colleen is out of the office at a trade show and ask if I can send it over...as they don't accept resumes online but once and I missed my shot thanks to this damn overly secure system.

In other news (and still in accordance with the title) I had another massive conversation with Craig last night. More fears voiced, more happy results. This is the most amazing thing that's ever happened to me.

LJ is not cooperating with me, so you may get this two or three times. You may not want to use the computer and time at work to look for a new job. I know people for whom that has ended badly. Don't want bad things to happen to my roomie!

There is a danger, which is why I don't intend to do that sort of thing any more than necessary. I had a limited window in which I could apply, and I'd foolishly let myself wait till I HAD to do it from work. I did not, however, upload my resume, nor is there a record of it anywhere in the system here. I clean out my computer's memory when I just check my email!
It also helps that I'm usually alone in this office. Don't worry, Roomie is taking all possible precautions.
