Egregious hunting fail
Feb. 22nd, 2010 11:45 amI'm not anti-hunting. I think if there were more hunters in NJ, the white-tailed deer population would be healthier. But I am ABSOLUTELY opposed to trap hunting. You want to do it, you do it yourself, fast and humane. Not only do trap hunters cause the animals they kill to endure immense suffering before they die, usually slowly of exposure, but they also risk causing things like this:

It's true that if the hunter had followed the rules, those traps would not have been where they were. But if they had been out of the way and worked according to the rules, the result would still have been a slow, tortuous, inhumane death.
I hate trap hunters.
