13. Where would you visit if you had the chance? everywhere! I've never been off the east coast except to Pennsic and Toronto

15. Where would you want to retire? Something by the sea

16. Favorite time of day? right around 6 PM when Jay gets home

18. What is your favorite sport to watch? figure skating. Yes, really.

19. Bird watcher? I like birds.

20. Are you a morning person or a night person? If I'm well rested, I'm a 24-hour person. If I'm not, no time is safe.

21. Pets? Mudflap the neurotic cat. He ams mah baybee!

22. Any new and exciting news that you'd like to share? The good: I'm engaged. The bad: a GYN/ONC is going to poke at my cervix this Friday.

23. What did you want to be when you were little? A palaeontologist. I think if it weren't for the cracked head when I was twelve, I'd be working on my doctorate now. Preferably in the Gobi desert (they keep finding WEIRD fossils out there).

24. What is your best childhood memory? anything with my brother. Watching the Police Academy movies was a big one, and making a working record needle like they did on Mr. Wizard's World with a pin and sheet of paper rolled into a cone. We played my Flashbeagle record that way.

25. Are you a cat person or a dog person? Pretty much any vertebrate is awesome. But there's just something about knowing that your pet has no biological imperative to get along with you, and likes you anyway. Just because he does.

26. Are you married? not yet

27. Always wear your seat belt? Almost always. I forget a lot in the backseat, but I'm not there much because I get headaches back there.

28. Been in a car accident? never a severe one, and never one that I caused. I got sideswiped once, but not badly. Any other time, I wasn't the one driving anyway.

29. Any pet peeves? rudeness, invading my space uninvited, people who can't be bothered to do for themselves

30. Favorite pizza topping? eggplant

31. Favorite Flower? I like all of them, really. I have a special place in my heart for foxglove because it has an awesome name, it's beautiful, it smells great, and it's deadly poison. And white orchids because they're the first flowers that someone who really knew me gave me (he was a friend and it was a corsage for a dance).

32. Favorite ice cream? Ben and Jerry's Phish Phood.

33. Favorite fast food restaurant? Baja Fresh

34. How many times did you fail your driver's test? Passed the first time, which I attribute to the original MarioKart.

36. At which store would you choose to max out your credit card? I'd never do such a thing. But if I had the spare cash to go on a shopping spree, Borders or Target.

37. Do anything spontaneous lately? I made a gourmet dinner last night. Chicken in potato, leek, and dill sauce, turmeric rice, and broccoli. Just on a whim.

38. Like your job? It's the best one I've had in a while. The only downside is I don't get any exercise while I'm working, so I have to make time specifically to work out, which I'm not a fan of.

39. What was your favorite vacation? This past Memorial Day at my godmother's. Jay came, there was lots of good company, great food, cool, brisk weather on Cape Cod (great for hiking), a lovely boat trip, and a house full of wonderful dogs.

40. Last person you went out to eat with? My big brother and troublesoulmate.

41. What are you listening to right now? People typing and answering phones.

42. What is your favorite color? blue, but a really specific blue. You can see it this time of year if you look about 25 degrees up from the horizon right after the sun sinks completely below it. I guess you'd call it cobalt, but it's got this richness and depth that I've never seen in anything down here on the ground.

43. How many tattoos do you have? 3, two of which will eventually be the bottom corners of a large back piece.

44. What time did you finish this quiz? 9:21 AM.

45. Coffee Drinker? Just finished my first cup of the day.
