Tonight we ride!

Lesson tonight. On a day as nice as this, I'll be happy to ride Peaches, Dede, or Robbie, all of whom I had rough first lessons on. But when the heatwave comes back, I'll prefer Tess, who goes REALLY FAST (mmm, breeze) and enjoys her post-lesson bath. I still love Miss Ellie Monster, but she's not fond of the hose and she doesn't really present me with a challenge anymore.

I find myself missing Red. He had this wonderfully affectionate nature, and he was always happy to lean together and give me ponysnuggles when I wasn't mounted up. I especially miss him after a whupping like Peaches gave me last Friday. ("You aren't going to canter me? INFERIOR!")
