Ten Things - Self-care

1 - Reading my second book on my Kindle. Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett.
2 - Riding lesson tonight.
3 - Work closes at noon Friday. Then I ride, then I go to Quest.
4 - Quest: 3 days of lounging in the sun, swimming in a river, and reveling in my friends. Oh, and drinking around a bonfire.
5 - I have been trying to think of a way to sum up Steampunk World's Fair, and I just can't. It was magical.
6 - Family stresses me out. I work very hard to hear what people are really saying, and to try not to filter it through my expectations. It feels like my immediate family can't do the same.
7 - In related news, I have no idea if I'm going north for Memorial Day or not. I think I've accepted that uncertainty, and can now move on and enjoy my weekend.
8 - June will be yet another party month. This is why I withdraw in the winter. I need to hibernate and recover!
9 - I'm working on shifting my focus from Big Important Things and How They Should Be to taking care of myself. I am stretched quite thin.
10 - Diablo III is very simple to play. I find it relaxing.
