Ten Things - Mondays keep happening to me
May. 14th, 2012 09:32 am1 - Kindle should arrive today.
2 - Mother's Day double header over the weekend. Saturday my family got together at my mom's favorite little bar & grill in Hawthorne, and then we watched Heather's softball game. Sunday Jay's family had a little backyard barbecue, and my mom and Ron came down.
3 - I really hate the kind of parent who gets angry over a little league game.
4 - Lindsay is a teeny human furnace. Don't have a sweater? Cuddle the little magma beast.
5 - Jay's dad finds amusement in discovering beer that I will drink. Sunday he entered the world of Lindeman's lambic. There is no coming back from this, as I could have told him anytime in the past decade. Om nom nom. Also, Monk's house sour. Flemish sour ale is delicious.

7 - My Draennei hunter is almost level 80.
8 - Lesson Friday night was less than ideal. Ellie's best buddy Daisy was in the class; they came to the barn together from the same resort. Though we did our best to keep them apart, Daisy kept cutting across to be near Ellie, and Ellie kept trying to slow down for her. Also, Ellie tripped a few times, which my mom said was probably because she kept looking for Daisy instead of where she was going. With some instruction from my teacher, I kept her going where I wanted her to...but I doubt they'll be in the same class again for a while. Which is a bit of a shame; I like the symmetry of me and Gabby on Ellie and Daisy, but the horses are just not ready for it.
9 - I am trying to accomplish one thing each day, but I skipped yesterday. If the rain is not too obnoxious, I will do more laundry tonight.
10 - Chicken and veggies for dinner. Greek olive sauce.
