Ten Things - White Men
Mar. 30th, 2012 09:13 am1 - Temp is leaving today.
2 - Riding tonight! Woo big Red!
3 - Doing laundry tomorrow. Man do I need to.
4 - Going to Moresca on Sunday. www.moresca.com
5 - Dinner with Jay's family last night went pretty well. Jay made dinner in the crock pot and did a good job. The wine I picked was pretty good (mid-season Riesling) but I'm not in love with it. Any white has to live up to Mount Hope Ice Wine, which is a very high bar.
6 - Gotta get the room block expanded for the wedding.
7 - Lost the 2 pounds I gained back. My current goal is to get down to 170. Once I get there, I'll set another. 8 to go.
8 - If you follow me on twitter, you already know that I've had a weird week. I have had a bunch of white men say really offensive things to me on facebook. Not like, I went and started an argument, but like, I posted a picture and they made bigoted comments, or I posted an article and they had misogynistic responses. So I've blocked a dozen people this week.
9 - Honestly, 505 facebook friends is still too many. I don't really mind. And every time I cut someone toxic off my list who I used to just shut up and tolerate, I felt a little better.
10 - My cat was in my face at 6:00 AM. I thought he must be low on dry food...nope, just wanted to be in my face. Thanks, cat.
