Saving a Dog

I have a friend who is desperately trying to re-home a pit bull off of death row. He's NOT a hard case. He needs expensive surgery (enough donations have been raised to cover the cost) on a leg injury. But the NC shelter that has him is not interested in getting it done; they'd rather just kill him. He needs a home so that he can have the surgery at all.

Dogs don't deserve this. If you're interested in him, or know anyone who is, please put them in touch with me so I can tell her. LJ messaging is fine, I check every day.
